To all Mustang enthusiasts of European Mustang clubs,



Team Mustang Center Nederland, with our 1200+ members, has each year many nice meetings to visit, but every 5 years there is a special event. This year it is time again to celebrate the 45th Mustang Anniversary on 13 & 14 June 2009. That weekend we will have the biggest Mustang only event of Europe, where we expect to see 500 Mustangs. For people who are not going to the USA this will be the event for Europe. It will be at the IJsselhallen in Zwolle where we have more then 10000m2. We want to get as many visitors from all over Europe so you are very welcome to stay with us. An official flyer will come out later.



If you like to come just call our club eventcoordinator John Huggers, 0031-612533940 for more information. We plan to register all the owners with their year of Mustang that will stay in the big halls for the whole weekend. We want to have an exposition that represents the history of the Ford Mustang from 1964 to 2009, including all special models like SVT Cobras, Shelbys and Boss Mustangs. What does this mean? You park your Mustang from Saturday 13 June 11 AM until Sunday 14 June 5 PM. For show purposes we then ask you to email us model, year, productionfigures, color, engine, transmission and options for your Mustang. These data will only be used for this event and won't be given to any third parties. TMCN will give visitors the opportunity to book a hotelroom at group rates? Details will follow later. A free shuttle service from the hotel to the IJsselhallen will bring you with no fuss.

The host hotel will be Hotel Mercure Zwolle. A free shuttle service from the hotel to the IJsselhallen will bring you with no fuss.On Saturday evening we will have a grand buffet and live music. Prices for rooms and buffet are:
- room for 1 person incl. breakfast and shuttle service € 75,50 per night
- room for 2 persons incl. breakfast and shuttle service € 86,00 per night
- room for 3 persons incl. breakfast and shuttle service € 116,50 per night
- buffet (drinks not included) € 20,00 per person

We reserve rooms on a first come first service. Full is full. Your reservation will be booked completely when payment is received. Wer fährt denn vom FMCOG hin?

Also, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, morgen (Sonntag) ist bestimmt die Hölle los. Ich war heute mal early-bird und konnte sogar ein paar Fotos der Halle von oben machen dank unserer TMCN-Kollegen.
Astrid Bouthoorn, die Frau vom Präsidenten hat ihren neuen Terlingua-Shelby ausgestellt. Übrigens der erste, der aus dem Tasca-Shelby Mod Shop kam nach Umbau mit dem Terlingua Performance Package (Basis V6 Mustang).
Ansonsten viele Raritäten, die ihr noch entdecken könnt. Auch der FMCE (Ford Mustang Club Estland) war da mit einigen Mustangs, einige Wild Ponies und natürlich Mustang und Cougar Club aus Belgien und div. lone Rider aus Deutschland. An CMs habe ich noch Detlef und Gabi Klör getroffen und sicher einige übersehen, die ich kennen müßte.
107 Fahrzeuge waren in der Haupthalle, wo die Historie des Mustangs für Besucher nach Baujahren geordnet dargestellt wird.

Dieser I6 Plain Jane Mustang wird morgen um 16.00 verlost. Ein Los kostet 15 Euro. Also hin, wer noch kein Pony hat. Schönes Auto.










Hier der andere Teil der großen Halle. Ca. 250 Autos standen hier gegen 14.00 Uhr schon. Weitere Parkplätze sind außen wohl für morgen.










Ein sicher sehr kostenintensives Event. Der TMCN hat immerhin 1100 Mitglieder und 40 Freiwillige sind vor Ort, um alles in Bahnen zu lenken.

die WPoH sind zahlreich vertreten das du auch mal Deutsch sprechen kannst der Rolf R. wollte auch fahren.
Ein Meeting in einer Halle ist ja schon Interessant,schade finde ich die Absperrung ist wie bei der Techno das keiner an die Autos heran kann.So wie ich das gelesen hatte wurde ja versucht von allen Baujahren jedes Modell auszustellen,das ist ja schon eine Leistung.Aber bei dem Wetter sicher ein Dickes Meeting.

Das mit der Leine ist nur optische Besucherführung, bin noch nie so oft "Seilchen" gesprungen und es hat sich auch sonst keiner an den Seilen gestört, wenn er was wissen wollte.
Stimmt, mit 2 WPoH-Members hab ich deutsch gesprochen, mit den Holländern aber auch , da ich kein holländisch kann. Bin mal gespannt, wer heute das wirklich schöne 6-Zylinder HT gewinnt. Verlosung um 16.00 Uhr.

Ja, es hat sich gelohnt! Wir waren gestern auch schon dort weil für heute schlechtes Wetter angekündigt war.

Die Niederländer organisieren ihre Treffen schon sehr gut, Hut ab. Es lohnt sich immer wieder!
