Leaf Spring recommendation?
I want to replace my rear springs with either 4.5-leaf or 5-leaf, mid-eye (1 inch) springs and don't want to pay the shipping from the US from Street or Track. I looked at Velocity's website and they list single springs and pairs of leaf springs. They have single Scott Drake springs at about 210 Euro and Unspecified pairs for 450 Euro. I sent them a note asking about the manufacturer of the pairs, response I got back was "we can't tell you". Obviously I am not going to buy "unknown" springs and Scott Drake does not have a great reputation in the US. Anyone have a recommendation for a spring/seller here?

Bad attitude from Velo. Selling stuff expensive and don't won't to tell what they are selling.
About SD. Well, I'm happy they exist. Sometimes they are the only source if refurb is not an option. Well they also only buy parts and put their label on. It all depends if their procurement does a good job from a technical standpoint or just buys the cheapest crap that's available in China. I have seen both...
Did you check mustangclinic they have a lot of parts for reasonable prices... Maybe something is there

There is an old American expression to describe this: buying a pig in a poke.
