kommst darauf aus wie viel platz unter der Haube vorhanden ist.
wenns nicht zugeht muss ich auf die filter verzichten.

beim 66 k musste ich auch den ovalen Luftfilter adaptieren.

Ich habe so ein ein IDA Setup seit 2007 auf dem Shelby.

Dort passen leider keine Luftfilter mehr, daher seit fast 15 Jahren Offen!

Das tolle an den IDAs ist, dass sie keinerlei Gummiteile haben: Keine Powervalves, keine Membranen für Beschleunigerpumpe. Auch die Nadelventile haben keine Gummispitze wie bei Holley & Co.
Daher laufen sie selbst nach langen Standzeiten völlig problemlos.

Apropos Anpassung..
Wo bei Holley & Co nur eine Hauptdüse ausgetauscht werden kann, ist der 48 IDA viel, viel komplexer.
Die Weber Lernkurve ist daher viel Steiler:
Bis mein Setup gepasst hat, habe ich mehr Geld in Düsen, Mischrohre, und so investiert, als eine normale 2x4 Anlage gekostet hätte.

Die oft verwendeten Siebe in den Lufttrichtern sind keine gute Lösung - Düsenstock und Lufttrichter brauchen eine gemeinsame Druckbasis, die geht bei den Sieben verloren. Wenn Filter, dann bitte Richtige.

Vorsicht, seit einiger Zeit kursieren China Clones auf der Bucht - zu sensationellen @250 - richtige Weber kosten mindesten 650 - pro Stück. mfg

Habe ich nur ein mal benutzt. 40 Euros Freundschaftspreis.

I installed this idf set-up on my car about a month ago. It is from Jim Englese in Florida. The installation of the manifold was pretty easy. The problems I had were with the fuel lines and the accelerator linkage.

The fuel lines were leaking at some connections and I had to re-cut some of the AN fitting ends to get them to seal. I also had to use sealant in some cases. Jim made a gas pump to pressure regulator line for me but the end would not fit my gas pump. Somehow there was a miscommunication on this so I had to search around for a pump that is almost in the "unobtainable" category right now. A little more coordination could have prevented this.

There is no pre-made accelerator linkage. Jim can supply a bracket that attaches to the rod in the car. He did make a "trial" rod for me (at extra cost). It did not work and was too short. It did though show me what I needed to make. I got a length of rod from Obi and cut the ends Jim set with an M5 gewindeschneider.

Jim offers two manifolds for the Webers, the Cobra style and the one with a thermostat. Do not buy the Cobra version!

One other extra cost was the spacers under the carbs, they are required with any of the aluminum rocker covers for adjustment clearance.

I ordered the short stacks so there are no clearance problems.

I did have some problems with clearance between the heater hose connection on the manifold and the distributor. It was impossible to install with the temperature sensor next to the distributor. I was able to get just enough clearance by grinding away some of the tube that screws into the manifold. I have a Mallory mechanical distributor that is smaller in diameter than the standard vacuum distributor, I don't know how you could install this system with a standard diameter distributor. I bought about 35 Euro in fitting from Obi and a hardware store trying to remedy the fuel line and heater hose issues.

Overall I am now happy with the set-up. I need to do some clean-up of the wiring now....

it is simply too expensive for me and getting everything running properly seems to be challenge.

was kostet so ein neue aufgebauter Satz den?
Ich hatte damals für meine gebrauchten samt Versand um die 2000$ bezahlt.
War ich Ordnung denke ich.
