It seems you are not the sharpest knife here so let me highlight on one thing for you sally67... many people dont drive on these tires but they simply use them to be 100% authentic on carshows.
You can buy them new for 1200+ USD (of course not including shipping and tax) or like in this "terrible condition" for way cheaper.

most users here are drivers. unlike in the USA, we drive our cars and those are not very reliable tires.
a tire that old is to be used for display purposes ONLY.
