This will be a very good idea! I think they are able to answer your open questions regarding using your canadian car here in germany (insurence, licenses, etc.) and under which passport you can stay for what period of time. I cant see problems using german passport. In this case you ´re a official citizen of germany, my opinion!

no I haven´t read your post in the other forum.
But it´s pretty easy: it´s all about how you talk to each other and how you behave in a conversation.
I got pulled over in the US a couple times and never got in serious trouble.
We´re all human beings.

I live near Frankfurt.
If you plan to visit the European Mustang meeting in Cologne in early June you will pass Frankfurt.
That´s gonna be a huge event!

just got an answer from the umwelt plakate people they are saying a vehicle needs to be 30 years old to be considered a historic vehicle in Germany

That sucks I have 2 other toys I would like to bring to Germany this one but it is only going to be 29 years old in 2014


this is my 71 boss 351 stang and my 2003 Ford F150 lightening
the pickup has the the big Kenne-Bell blower on it 525 rear wheel horsepower
The mustang has an all aluminum 427 cubic inch nelson racing engines small block motor with a tremec t56 6 speed behind it
I have the new motor dressed up to look just like the original Boss 351

You are correct When I was on duty and somebody was polite and treated me with respect they got exactly the same treatment back from me

If somebody was an A$$HOLE I went out of my way to make their lives miserable Police officers are human beings just like everybody else

I have just returned from Germany have been home about 6 weeks now I flew into Zurich because that is closer to my sister in Konstanz and flew out of Frankfurt because that was closer to my family in ketsch and hockenheim

If everything goes well I will most certainly consider going to the Mustang/ford treffen when I am there

are you staying in the Frankfurt area? If so, here are a lot of mustang freaks gathered together in the Rhein-Main Stammtisch (see http://www.mustang-inside.de/viewforum.php?f=33). If you like we could have some rides together and you might be moody to join the crackerbarrel. Just look up the crackerbarrel thread for monthly meeting. Hope you will get your car here without any trouble.
